Glass-fronted niches are cremation memorial spaces with a clear glass front, allowing families to display the urn alongside photographs, mementos, lighting, and emblems. They are designed and manufactured in North America by Global Bronze for cemeteries, churches, and funeral homes, and are installed indoors, in mausoleums, chapels, columbarium rooms, corridors, and retrofitted spaces.

Every niche is made to order and built to your dimensions, your shape, and your space, never the reverse. Projects are typically built and ready for installation within 60 days. Sizes range from single niches to 24-inch-deep companion niches holding two urns, with curved and shaped glass fronts available alongside flat panels. Installation is available as full service by Global Bronze crews, as a hybrid, or by the cemetery's own crew in coordination with our guidance.

From first concept through installation and after-sales care, you work with a single team, so the design that wins the project is the design that is built. Optional features include our patent-pending Crystal Niche™ all-glass presentation and the patent-pending bronze Secure Rosette™ tamper-resistant fastening. Build: made to order in any width, height, and depth, with no fixed limits.
Forms: flat or curved (concave and convex), in wall, freestanding, and island layouts.
Standard sizes: single clear opening ~10.5 × 10.5 × 12″. Modules 12 × 12 × 12″, 18 × 12 × 12″, 24 × 12 × 12″, 36 × 12 × 12″, and 24 × 24 × 12″, with depths to 24″.
Capacity: scales with size, from a single adult urn with mementos to family and display formats.
Thin or deep builds: built to the exact depth your wall allows, including remarkably thin profiles that reclaim space other systems cannot.
We adapt to your space, not the other way around.

Glass: 6mm tempered on flat fronts, 5mm tempered on curved. Beveled edges available.
Surfaces: front, back, and sides, glazed see-through or finished opaque. Build a fully transparent all-glass niche (Crystal Niches™), a window-backed wall, or a classic opaque-back design.
Construction: column-separated for clean seams and a durable seal. Frameless edge-to-edge with no posts between fronts available on any system.
Customization: every detail configurable. Contact our team to design yours.

Frame: anodized aluminum profiles with powder-coated plates, corrosion-resistant, rated for interior use.
Default finish: champagne anodized, any color can be matched, including bronze and gold.
Interior finishes: marble, granite, or wood looks, fully customizable to your own.
Accents: accent coatings on select columns for added distinction.

System: optional bronze Secure Rosette™, a tamper-resistant fastening offered on any front, never imposed by default. Patent pending.
Securing points: four per front.
Function: doubles as a finished decorative element. Allows authorized access for inurnment and resealing.
High-security glazing: bullet-resistant (ballistic) glass available as an option where added protection is required.

How many urns fit in a glass-fronted niche?

Because every niche is made to order, we can also build to non-standard sizes, taller or wider, so the urn a family has chosen will fit. Can you build thin or shallow niches for tight walls?

Yes. Tell us the depth your wall allows and we build to it, reclaiming space other systems leave unused.

Can the glass fronts be secured?

Yes, when you want it. Any front can be secured with our patent-pending bronze Secure Rosette™, a tamper-resistant fastening that doubles as a finished decorative element while still allowing authorized access for inurnment. It is an option, never imposed by default.

Can the Secure Rosette™ system be added to existing niches?

Yes. It retrofits across all Global Bronze products and onto many compatible third-party systems, a simple way to add or upgrade security on niches already installed.

Do you offer a vase system?

Yes. Our vase system mounts onto the rosette and can be added at any time, even years after installation, on our systems and many third-party ones.

Can the interior be customized?

Yes. Interior colors and textures are fully customizable, finished to look like marble, granite, wood, and more.

Where can glass-fronted niches be installed?

Glass-fronted niches are designed for indoor use, which protects the glass, the urn, and the mementos inside. Foyers and corridors are typical, but because every system is custom-built, they can go virtually anywhere indoors: chapel walls, offices, alcoves, around windows, or as free-standing islands.

Do you make all-glass niches?

Yes. We build fully transparent all-glass niches, and any surface can be see-through or opaque. Frameless edge-to-edge construction with no posts between fronts is available on any system.

What lighting options are available?

LED lighting in 2700K (warm-white) or 5000K (daylight), configured for continuous operation, rated for 50,000+ hours, and fully serviceable after installation. Further options are available, so speak with our team about what best suits your project.

Can decorative lights be mounted on the niche front?

Yes. Front-mounted memorial lights, including our Simplicity and Montreal designs, can be set into the glass and integrated into the system. Because this is engineered in when the niche is built, the lights are specified at the time of order, not added later. Ask our team about available styles and finishes.

What glass and finish options are available?

Our standard is 6mm beveled tempered glass on flat fronts and 5mm on curved, with anodized aluminum profiles in a champagne finish by default. Every element is customizable: glass type, profile color, interior finish, and surface treatment. Specialty glazing is available on request for projects with specific security or performance requirements.

Can glass-fronted niche systems handle structural and load requirements?

Every system is engineered to the load and structural conditions of your project, including seismic requirements where applicable. Because each installation is custom-built, the engineering is calculated for your site rather than applied as a generic standard.
